Another lovely fly series, love the details in these images as always, and some really nice backgrounds as well to help isolate the flies even more! My fave is #2, but the first mating flies shot made me laugh.

#1 and #2 are the two types of dolichopid fly I find in the garden- whilst #1 is about 12mm body length , #2 is about 4mm body length.
