so if i am going to watch 1 rural run, do i have to buy a ticket? or can i buy one there, or are they going to sting me for $20 just to watch 10 cars go passed? careful with the walkie talkies guys, i duno if i would use them in a WRC event where contact is imperative to them. dont want to throw a spanner in your works but worth thinking about...... "left hand 50 degrees corner.... 'dinner tonight, over'.... tight..... 'hey moppie, check out this corner over'..... you dont wanna miss it" oops!!

   Classic!

However the in car intercoms are all hard wired, and the team radios networks are generally encrypted (yes the competition is that tight).

you could just walk in.
Tell the marshals you live on the farm next door, and you need to check some stock.

Better yet, tell them they have no legal right to demand payment to a public event held on public roads, and if they wish to stop you looking at that particular bit of road they can talk with your lawyers, or the police if they try to forcibly remove you.

I'm not too concerned with either size, I've got 3 x 160G onboard, the one for photo's is 80% full, video one 75% full so I need to do something reasonably soon.

So is there any plan for Saturday night, or are just going to see what everyone feels like after the rally?

With the last stage not starting till around 3.45 - 4ish - I would suggest we would be back in Auckland at say 6 - 6.30ish? Dependent on how long people would stay for, if they stayed for the last stage at all.....

Seeing as we all seem to be in the vicinity of Botany - could the Cock and Bull Botany be an idea for a drink?

A bunch of Canon bits and pieces.
