Three weeks have past. Did you get the 400 or 500, or something else, or both?

You may want to give Allen's Camera (in Levittown, PA) a call. They usually meet or beat B&H's prices, ship fast, and are WAY friendlier than B&H...

We got ours about 3 weeks ago. Ended up getting from ebay used, but it's beautiful. Rented it twice so far, and the reviews could not be more positive. Thank you to the POTN's ckphoto who sold it to us. <3

Maybe a 560mm f/4, but still has the DOF of f/2.8... just saying (something that I learned last night about when using TCs).

So which did you get??

That's what I did, this was about a month ago. Not only did they have plenty in stock (which no one else did), but it was also $100 cheaper than B&H! Only catch is that you have to call them as they don't have online shopping. Though, that might be an advantage anyone looking for a high-demand item!

Josh,
This same thing happened to me when purchasing an 85L. I finally found one and bought it. A week later I found they were releasing a mk2!

Should of taken it back!
