i do not have a decent printer so when printing photos i use the Costco online printing service which requires that i upload jpgs.

I have just been "exporting" the images one-at-a-time from the Library, but I would like to use the functionality of the Print Module (to make contact sheets, borders, etc.)

Is there a way to "export" jpgs from the print module? When I go to the print feature, I can send to a printer or send to PDF, but i would like to be able to print out a JPG that I can send off to Costco (or any other online printing service)

Thanks!

I know you can export as a PDF then you could open that and save it as a JPG

Currently there is no way to export to jpg from the print module. There are several methods of workarounds that I have heard about over at the Adobe user to User forums but I have tried none myself. I still use CS2 to do my converting for Costco. I created a droplet that adds canvas converts the profile and saves.

thanks for the helpful responses.

I wonder if it's worth it to export a PDF then convert to JPG in photoshop and add the color profile in photoshop too. My only worry is that IQ may degrade when i convert the PDF... is that a valid fear?

if you are going to go to PS then why nt do everything in PS after exporting from LR. What type of borders do you use that can't be done in PS? As I mentioned earlier my process is completely automated through the droplet after exporting. So I only have to setup the export and then let LR and PS do their thing.

well, mostly i like the ease of creating a contact sheet in lightroom, which would be a pain to do in PS but yes, it's still do-able.
