Sold my 70-200 f2.8 L and my 300mm f4 IS L and already having sellers regret. Anyone ever experience this?

I've gone from 3 white lenses to one. :( Guess I will have to buy a 70-200 f2.8 IS L sometime in the next 12 months

In the words of Starbuck from Battlestar Gallatica "It's frackin great!"

It was awesome. Needed the money for a downpayment on a new car (or to settle the loan on my car for sale ;)) . Actually the one I really miss already is the 300mm f4 IS L. It might not be the f2.8 version but I think it is just as good. It's great!

good to hear , the lens that is , i still carnt decide between that and the f4 IS , the 2.8 is around 80 quid dearer so thats not a problem but the 2.8 IS is out of budget as i wouldnt be able to get the 400 5.6

Another lens I should not have sold but sold because I bought a 1D MKII was the Sigma 30 EX DC. I kept my 10-22 for my 20D, I should have kept that lens also, because like I needed $400 bucks :(

when i sold my 70-200 IS and 100-400, i don't feel anything. I guess i don't use those 2 lens much. However, i'm regret when i sold my 135L. It was a sharp copy. :(

Sigh.. I am thinking about letting go of my own copy..
I still love the lens.. as there is nothing I can complain about the result it gives..
But its FL on the FF is no longer a sweet spot..
And it bothers me to think about the fact that something that is 4 times cheaper yet will be utilized way more than the 35L..
It just feels like I made a bad investment..

i tried to rent a 35L or 24L today from the largest camera store in the south bay area and the guy said they didn't carry them because there was no demand.

the only wide primes for rent were the 14L and 15mm.

Sorry you're having regrets :( . Wish there was something I could say....

As for me, so far so good :) . I've sold the 17-40L and 28-135 IS and haven't missed them - much - the 28-135 was good for large macros in studio but I haven't had a need for that lately. Just sold the Sigma 100-300 f/4 on Saturday and recieved the 300mm f/4 L IS on Wednsday :D . It's early yet, but the 300mm looks like a keeper :) .
