Agree with most that has been said. But one thing made me curious. Have you noted your wife is pulling the toes backward? Only the Thumbs are pushed forward. Hmmm...
...hmm... when would why do that? ... hmmm... Oh yeah! It's when I'm wigling my toes! 
Now, if she was wigling the toes(check with model, please), then it's a happy photo hence I would preffer the colour version (with the nice colours in the water)
