My old scanner has finally been buried--it has died many times in the last year or two. So I'm looking for something new in the $150 range.
I've been considering the Canon CS8600F--the reviews are almost all positive--but I've had a hard time figuring how convenient the unit would be for simple document-copying-to-print and generating emails from document scans, which are two functions I use regularly in addition to scanning slides and prints.
Would appreciate hearing anyone's firsthand experience using the 8600F to copy and email.
