They are very popular with super-telephoto lenses. The neoprene cover does give you a bit of extra protection from scratches, though I doubt it will help should you drop the lens. I also think it makes the lens more comfortable to hold, though I've not used them with anything but my 500. Plus I think the cammo looks kinda cool.


I'm taking pictures of everything, so go ahead and take this place away from me.

Was thinking of getting one for my sigma 50-500 and canon 100-400

Yeah I thought the Camo would look cool too ;)

Yup, they work pretty well. I have them on this
