I've been using PS for years now and have recently downloaded a program called The Gimp. I'm sure many of you are aware of it. It is an open source Program and free.
Anyone else use it? For being free it sure does have alot of functionality.

I've also been using it for years ... it gets the job done.

I can't fairly compare it to PS because the last version of that I had access to was version 3. The Gimp stomps all over that version :)

We use Linux exclusively in our house..
so the Gimp is my main photo editing program (and DigiKam is my secondary), with Raw Therapee being my Raw converter of choice :).

Open Source rocks :D!

I use it as my main photo editing program as well. I do use a copy of PSE 3 that came bundled with my tablet when doing "smudge" painting but for everything else it is the GIMP with UFRaw for raw conversion.
