Spotted this fella mosying around the inside of my window.
Since my lens cupboard is in the same room, I slapped on the 100mm Macro and the 2xTC and full set of tubes, just to see what happened...

That explains why (after gentle prodding to ask him to pose nicely), he flew right at me, prompting me to wave my arms around, screaming like a nancy-boy...! hahaha, I've never seen a Robberfly attack a human, usually they just fly off. Good shot Pete, especially since you used the 2x TC as well, which I would have expected to degrade the image IQ somewhat.

Dave Yeah, it did flatten the tonality by quite a large margin, but not (thankfully), the sharpness. It took a fair bit of photoshopping to get it looking reasonable again.
