The Digital Photo Professional software supplied with the MK3 seems far superior to the version I had with the 20D - now I can sharpen properly in RAW.
Should be the same as what's available from the Canon Website (v3.02 for DPP and v2.02 for EU).
Congrats on the 1D Mark III, I'm very envious!!! The images look good, very good, plenty of detail the the IQ looks silky smooth. If I had been able to get the Mark III, I had planned to get rid of flash altogether and shoot high ISO (1600) and natural light, now that you have the camera, do you think it's feasible. I'd also be interested to see what you think of the live view feature, although I won't be around to hear future reports after Monday, at least for sometime.
1 series bodies are heavier, but they do feel firm in the hand. The older 1 series bodies are even heavier than your Mark III
Have you tried the Sigma 150 on it
Congrats again Toby, you'll make good use of this camera.
