AWESOME! Hey Jim. I can't tell for sure if you like your new Mark II or not. Those boats look crazy, but fun I'll bet.

Hey Jim, is it allowed to take shortcuts like that? And if so, how much time did they shave off their run? I can see it now, the boat owners putting little wheels or skids on the bottem of their boats so they can get over the islands easier. Pretty soon they are going to have to put speed bumps on the islands.

And outstanding shots as usual, Jim.

I am glad I am not the only one having problems with dust on my sensor!

Great action shots...and a lot of good ones.

I didn't notice it on the first shoot. They all blew off nicely. I didn't have time to edit them all...

A great photographer is a great photographer. That is you jim.

A great photographer with the best equipment availible is...stunning.

My point is that you've always posessed the knowledge and skill to capture images like this, i'm just glad to see that the limiting factors to this knowledge and skill is shrinking.

I enjoy them all!

Nice shots! I enjoyed those very much. I'm curious though, how fast were those boats typically moving in those shots and then what Lens/ShutterSpeed/Aper. were you using? I realize it probably varies quite a bit from shot to shot, but for the faster moving boats?

These are Jet boats ya know..Aren't they supposed to fly?

dsze: The fast boats run about 90-100mph at the fast parts of the course. As for my shutter speeds, I do vary between 1/125 to 1/1600 or depending on my mood and the lighting.

Thanks again everyone. ChampCars and Trans-Am this weekend!! Woohoo!!
