Hi,

I just downloaded the "Midnight Sepia" plug in for photoshop.... When I unzip it, my Explorer window indicated its an "ATN file" 4kB in size... when I double click on it, it simply transfers me to my Photoshop CS screen... I am pretty new to this, so I was wondering if anyone could walk me through how to get it loaded onto CS and where I could find/utilize it?

Thanks!

unless your plug in came with specific instructions, which apparently it didn't, then try dropping the plug in file into plug ins folder in the Photoshop directory on the C drive under program files. This is of course assuming your using windows. hope that does it for you.

If it's an ATN file it's not a plugin, it's an Action. Hence you load it from the Actions pallette drop down menu(In Photoshop...Window>actions>click the arrow>load actions). It can be loaded from anywhere on your computer but if you want to stay organized you can drop it in the 'Photoshop Actions' folder in the program files.

If you indeed have a plugin then you will want to put the file in the plugins folder. Then restart Photoshop and it will show up at the botom of your filters menu.
