I like Canon Glass. Just the whole concept behind it. Anyways.

I have seen the latest set Peter. Really like them. They made me say "wow" :)

Gearheads.
I am completely happy with my kit at the moment.
I don't NEED (Emphasis on the word Need) anything.

I think my next purchases will be in the direction of a dedicated high end desktop PC and a good 24 inch Eizo monitor with calibration device.. oh and a tablet, and and and.

Sh1t I'm a gearhead!

But that will have to wait a while.. till my next well paid photoshoot.

Edit: Is this ramblings? Maybe it should be in the other thread... Sorry Scott

while your right, it's also the interface between the photographer and the picture.

I have read the first book Tony. "Beginners guide to photographic lighting". Very good read. It has opened my eyes to basic lighting and terms.

My next book ill read is the posing one :)

yea i like the gear as much as taking photos :) so what's wrong with getting interested in new gear when it comes out?

it seems to upset people that some may like the gear as well as the photography.

Why would you want a 80 f5.6 when you already use a 80 f1.2, just change the aperture ;)

Fixed :)

So its down to 500,600 and 800. Money is no object.
So far the 500 has the weight and distance however people are hand holding the 800 and getting good results
Down side to the 800 is you cant make it shorter.
