hmm starnow is annoying. I just get spam emails. I find that some models are just sooo professional and they are on magazine covers etc. And I feel as if they would want hardcore pro's.

My friends are starting to pull out of shoots. So I am getting a bit concerned :(

But ill try find out ways. Just need to build some contacts somehow.

I had great sucess with starnow. Allways go to the new members with second rate photos

Its all how you ask.

Matt put yourself in there shoes

Young single man wanting to take photos of them. They dont know you from a bar of soap. You have a flicker account and what would a google search of your name produce?

You will be suprised the # that do google your name before they respond to your e-mails

true. I feel like packing it in aye. Ill just wait on it.

I just got told by one of my models to remove all of her bikini shots. Which is fine. I did it right away. I told her it is not the style I wanted to pursue. But she had concern for it being on my flickr and being self conscious or something.

This sort of threw me off, put me in a foul mood aye. I need to find some sort of common ground.

And just to think Matt you havnt started yet

Its funny looking back over my year of model photography.I never realised how much they taught me to keep my mouth shut. Do the job and do it well. I gave 110% to every model.
The photos were editing ASAP often still editing at 1am. Did they care....NO they only cared about how good they looked. The # of times I came inside fuming after the model/models had left.
However I loved it but alas I knew when it was time to give it away. To the joy of my wife :)

haha, I can handle the girl side of things. I deal with that everyday. Alright, ill just have to just wait on it and keep photographing randomly. I have never had a clear direction in photography.

Which can often be frustrating!

I have not bothered with starnow. Its far too confusing and.. crap. In my opinion. Its cluttered and reminds me of bebo. Anyways.

None of my friends consider themselves models. They would rather pack it in and deny every single bit of canon glass. Laughing it off and blah blah blah.

I am going to take photographs of girls in magazines. woohoo. actually printed in 2d. oh the joy :p

I think its just a matter of growing some **** and doing it. I will stop deliberating. Cheers for the experiences Tony. The Posing book is fantastic by the way. Very well researched and technical.

I have never had your problems with Models Tony, on the other hand, I have almost never got a model over the internet. All my models have either come looking for me, or I have gone up to them and asked personally.
I guess I am lucky to work in a company with enough good looking women to keep me busy for a while.

I like where Tag's going with this...

I speak fluent German: I know half the names for corners at the Nurburgring and can pronounce Bitburger! 8)

Cheers, Dave.

Deal. You can have the start of the week, so you'll always get 'Tit Monday' and the like, I'll have the end of the week where I can stare more without being caught as they're all tired! :p

Anyway, shhhh! That hawk thing'll be along soon to tell us to shut up, this is for serious photos only! :p

Cheers, Dave.

Yes of course we are hiring. I don't have anyone to make my coffee.

I guess we are about 100 people at the moment.
