not sure if the A80 has a hotshoe?

bahaha. I can imagine photographs in my head :p

When I saw that 1dsmk1 go out my door. I felt a pain in my chest. Oh dear. Ah well, gone to a good photographer. Tested the 1dsmk1 on a 16-35mm

No, but it does have a manual flash, and I do have a couple of optical triggers (I think one is Pete's?).

Matt, it's not being used if you really want to test your creative ablities :)

I was thinking of useing an optical trigger with a wireless transmitter in it held close to the flash, that would then trigger a remote flash on a wireless reciever.

So long and thanks for all the flash

Lance, You know... I have no idea how you take these photos... I can never get decent macro shots at this kind of distance... by the time I've focused they've moved and are out of focus again. Just stunning work.

Thanks Matt. The forground is perhaps a little dark, but I really like it.

Good luck with your trip to the dark side.

Yes but why?

It is, as with much (though not all) of your sports stuff, frozen to the point of being as entertaining as seeing statues. You know there's movement because they're gurning like idiots, but the shot(s) convey no emotion and no sense of drama or action.

Cheers, Dave.

Well I wouldn't know anything about conveying emotion
