Also from the weekend up in Auckland - the zoo animals were actually behaving nicely for photos :)

QUOTED IMAGE

That reminds me very accurately of some images from a forensic dentist I had to deal with this week at work. Person's head split back in half like that, jaws, brains and the works wide open. Joy.

just picture it as 64 queues at Burger King - the more lanes open, the quicker the people processed...

Not if you still only have 1 guy out the back making the burgers.......:p

went to camera and camera today. They have run out of stock of the D700. Said that Noink have not supplied them with enough. He then tried to sell me the one on display :p

They're lying tossbags.

Cheers, Dave.

The distributor for Nikon in NZ has some, if not on the shelves then in cupboards across the land where shops like ours have either not put them on display or never fired a shot with them.

The initial drop came about two weeks after announcement, and then we were told to expect further deliveries within another fortnight. So unless your C&C have sold so many of the buggers they've run the country dry (we still have ours, never been fired and open to recall by the importer if they needed it) they're either lying or can't be assed to phone up the importers and ask where they can source one from.

Ergo, they're big bell ends.

Cheers, Dave.
