Shame

I want to feel the weight on my camera and that way I know. I had no issues with the 300 and weight and handholding. Would need a good mono pod for 500
but have read that it can be handheld for a few shots. 400 and 600 monopod is a must.

Well I have it in "M' mode all the time now. Colours pop like you wouldnt believe. All I seem to do is levels, contrast and bit of USM thats it.

I want to see NZDoug soon to do a BIG print.

Im holding off spending any more on glass untill I work out what I need. The 70-200 and 1.4 TC will need to be tested. Otherwise 300F4 IS.
Another Big white is a way off. The camera print sales can pay for that. Need a goal and a reason to push

mmmmm im going into the massey printery to c how good their image quality is and how cheep they are. i want to do a few MASSIVE prints for my flat.

If considering the 300 f4, y now consider the 400 f5.6 at the same time
Sure its 2 stops slower but its 100mm longer and sharp as balls(or razor blades but i dont want to talk about them after being in Bankok)
