When I was viewing the individual slices of a recent stack of a hybrid paph (lady slipper orchid) I noticed that a 1 &1/2 slice visit by a fly. While he was not in the critical focus zone during his short stay, I decided to keep the fly in the compilation anyway. Hope you enjoy.

For some reason only one of the images is showing and the other you have to click to view. I'm not sure why.

Irwin

Hiya Irwin,

Excellent shots, musta missed this one due to the hectic w'end.

I love the tonal range of the Greens in the close up shot & even with the pesky intruder the full shot of the lady Slipper Orchid is beautiful

Cheers for now
Mark

Hi Mark. Thanks for our thoughtful comments. I debated whether to keep the fly or not. In compiling, it would have been easy to chose the slices where the fly did not appear. I will probably rerun the image tonight to see whether I like it better without the fly.

Take care of yourself.

Irwin

Great pictures, the full view is really beautiful and the fly doesn't detract from the beauty of the orchid :)

Thank you Dave, Alby and Brian. I have several additional stacks that look promising.
