Conversion Lens Adapter for G5

A quick question for anyone who may be able to help me.

When using the G5 Conversion Lens Adapter with a filter lens, is it still possible to use the zoom capability to its fullest capacity? Similarily, if I then fitted a wide angle lens, would I still be able to use any zoom?

This may seem like a stupid question but I haven't seen a G5 with one fitted yet, i.e. only pictures of it, and I'm interested in getting some extra kit.

Hi,

Should be no problem at all.

I have a G3 and I believe the bodies are pretty much identical - with full zoom there is a good 0.5inch before reaching the end of the adapter/filter.

In addition I havent bought the WA lens but there is no problem using the telephoto lens (Canon one) - in fact you have to zoom almost fully to avoid seeing the adapter tube in the picture (unless you are prepared to crop the center section).

Regards.
