Spiders in the garden

I don't know why I do this to myself, I hate spiders and only add to the nightmare that is camera shake . I couldn't find any spiders in our Ivy bush, all I could see was the webs... I picked up a blade of grass and tapped the side of one web, then this (first spider) huge spider steamed out and scared the living crap out of me I guess I can only blame myself!!

Anyway, 100mm plus 25ET... an unexpectedly shallow DOF, never used an extension tube before, plus 580ex (want a macro flash). The second spider was about 1-2cm's I think. I'm still learning so C&C away, peeps!

nothing wrong with these captures, focus looks good. It wasn't that bad, you made it out of the garden alive

Thanks Trevor, the first photo looks a little busy, the more I look at it. The second would have benefited more if the critter was round the other side and had more DOF. Live and learn.
