Im looking for a octagon softbox for my AB800.

I have seen some that have gold lining inserts that give off a warm light. These would be ideal, depending on price, of course.

Do yall know who makes them?
Where can I get them? Will AB's speedring work fine with them or will I have to

1-Make some modification to the AB ring?
2-Buy a completely different ring to fit the box to the light unit?

Is photoflex the only brand that makes them?

Any help would be appreciated:D

lol well thats the easy part, but would like to know if it fits the one in the link.

The reason Im looking is because in this video (external link), you can see the inserts being put in.

I really like the look of it and the easy setup is quite appealing as well.

If it is an AB then I must have been mistaken, if not I would like to know what brand it is.

I PM'ed him but no response, Im sure hes busy.

im not sure i get your question.

i have the octabox you linked. i use an AB speedring with it. the supplied one isnt stable enough for a big octabox with the Alien bees. you need to buy an AB speedring for it, or risk damaging your lights.

Ok cool. I think where we crossed up but no connection was made, lol was when I asked if the AB speedring would work, you then replied with, "it wont buy another AB speedring.

I thought, I dont have one, do I need to get two?:p

I heard the durability of the AB's octabox wasnt all that fantastic.
