Extensively edited - was shot near darkness with 17-55IS. Levels, saturation, contrast, and a healthy dose of noise ninja and sharpening did this:

what do you think?

yes i was worried about that - if i composed it straight, the neon was quite crooked due to how I shot it. Wife liked it like this, and she is the boss...

I like the use of line in this one alot, if anything I'd like to see it with a darker background to make the pinks/oranges pop more.

Since you've already extensively retouched the shot, why not free-transform the left side to parallel? It should hold up fine. I think the color is looking pretty good. The sky in this case should complement the foreground — as it does — not compete or blend with it. Nice shot.
