These are my first shots using my new Kenko Extention Tubes (I think that I am in love). I was sticking to my 70-300 because of the extra distance it was giving me and I was slowly getting closer and closer, so we shall see what some practice and patience will do. Two of the images were take with my nifty and they are noted below.

And might I add that I never truly appreciated the split focusing screen on my Mom's old Nikkormat before now, if only there was a way to barrow it since I still have a copy, but then I would not be able to focus that camera. Guess I just might have to invest in one.

I could not take it any longer, I posted this late Monday night and had dropped out of the radar before anyone really had a chance to look and I so wanted some of your opinions on these my first true Macro shots. I apologize for the shameless bump.

You are going to love your new tubes. They open up a new range of subjects --a whole new world to explore . Enjoy,Nan. You are off to a good start.

Thanks! I just wish that I had more time to mess around with this stuff. I have been resticted to mainly shooting in bright sunlight because I was really just unable to just my flash. But come tomorrow I will have my off shoe cord and flash bracket so game on! I can't wait!

The abstract nature of the last of these images appeals to me. I like floral abstracts.
