This (and many others) was lit on the outside of my window this morning. Is this a nat? It's about 1/4" long (including tri-tail). Doesn't appear to have wings. I edited this to "hopefully" make the thumbnail work.

Jul 17, 2007 10:47 | #5 No pond, but a running creek about 100' away. I looked outside this morning, and they are all over my windows and doors. Very small, look like small pieces of white thread stuck to the house (until you magnify them!). At night lots of small brown bugs (knats?) on the windows and doors (attracted to interior light), I would guess they're related, the white things are smaller than the brown insects, so my guess is shed skin of newly hatched brown bugs. Tom
