I've tried composing some shots through the viewfinder of my G3 (but the lens gets in the way sometimes because of the way it's made) and I can say that for the most part, it's helpful, though it doesn't have the rubber eyepiece around it like SLRs do... I'd love to get a 10D, but alas, I don't have that much money to spend on it 5D Mark II, Leica M8
