Pyramids! - UPDATED PHOTO!

It's just OK.
Lived in Cairo for almost 3 years, so I know what Giza can look like.

I like it.
It's sharp, it's clean, the colours look right to my eye and the sky is beautiful.
Some might prefer to loose some of the foreground and maybe move the pyramid of center.
However it looks good to me.

Sorry, but it don't hold my attention for long - its just a shape with a lot of foreground and sky.

Perhaps if the pyramid filled more of the frame and showed a little more detail or was at a different angle in the frame?

What I miss in this picture is a subject that gives an impression of the size of this pyramid. I have visited the Gizeh pyramids 4 years ago and I was overwelmed by their size and especially this big one.

I would do the following:

1. Level the horizon by rotating CCW.
2. Crop left, right, top and bottom.
3. Adjust the curves in PS to make the "stones" in the foreground more prominent because they form almost a small pyramid upside down as if it would be an artificial reflection of the real pyramid.

I agree. It needs something to give it scale.

Hmmmmmm..............t​he shot is so-so.

Even though I've never seen one in person, pyramids are all over books and magazines that you really have to do something a little bit more special to hold our interest.

#1. Your crop is a bit too tight I think. I would've backed out a bit or used a wider angel to capture scenes around that pyramid. i.e. more sky.......or an expanse of desert...............m​aybe some camels resting etc......

#2 The "Van gogh" effect in your sky doesn't add anything to the photo.

#3 If you want to concentrate on the pyramid by itself, maybe a shot from its base looking up will add a different POV for the viewers.

It looks to me like you're taking a pyramidic stab at surrealism. The
question is, then, how to make the subject look a bit more surreal.
Put a can of Coke on it, someplace? A piper cub towing a banner, perhaps?
You might also try it in black and white or IR.
That's just a guess.
