I got an email today saying June 25th for shipment of the np-e3 batteries from this company. Good thing I didn't REALLY need them soon. Like the others, I find myself using one battery for a couple days before even thinking about changing.

Oh well.....hurry up and wait......this makes me feel like I'm back in the military again.....

its kind of hillarious....I actually paid for FedEx on this stuff......you have to laugh at yourself once in awhile.....

I'm in the same boat..

I think a few will be sold on E-bay and one will go with the 1D I just sold.. albeit a little late.

Battery status from mydigitaldiscount - I give up!!

Since they never returned emails or attempts to contact, I have asked them to cancel my order. Anyone actually get their batteries? I'm really thinking it was a rip-off job. I figured 2 plus months was very fair. Buyer beware I guess.

Scott

No one has received batteries and no one has had their cards charged, so what's being ripped off? It's a drag since they have not updated anyone on this and they simply do not answer emails. I've made several purchases from them with zero issues and I have not heard of anyone claiming to have problems with them. It just seems a matter of laziness and not a ripoff of any kind.

Something needs to actually be missing of value before it can be called a ripoff.

I found My Digital Discount to be a poorly run but honest place. I would not shop there again but only because of their poor business practices or not communicating well. It seems like they are a few guys operating out of someones basement.

If if makes you feel any better, my NP-E3 has been backordered from J&R for 4 weeks so far. Seems to be a supply issue.

EDIT: Ahhh.... I now see that the referenced battery is a great priced 2200 mAh aftermarket version. Does anyone know how many mAh the stock Canon battery is? Can't seem to find that anywhere....
