Another set of a beautiful female hoverfly, these really are little gems to photograph.

Thanks Brian and yes I do have a affection for the hoverflies, they're a great insect I think, especially when they just hover in front of you checking you out. :-)

Beautiful set of shots (but I think #2 is slightly too dark).

Great capture in #3 - I just havent had the time to persevere and try and get more of this type of shot, but I will one day :D

I agree with you entirely about them being very photogenic and very addictive to photograph. They are such cute little characters.
