There were hundreds of gatekeepers there though. Here's one, a female, feeding on devil's bit scabious.
Taken as usual with Canon S3 with HDK raw hack + 500D close-up lens. C&C appreciated.

Jul 19, 2007 17:21 | #13 Thanks again all. I got lucky yesterday with the weather. After a wet start it was a warm sunny afternoon. Had a good day today as well until about 4:30pm when it started to rain again. That was our summer I think, a day and a half.
