I went out for birds and came back with bugs I shot these with my 1D 4 mega pixel body, with 100-400 and 1.4 TC handheld. auto focus mode.. I was shocked to see how well focused they were.... Jul 18, 2007 20:39 | #5 Thanks Mitch... These were at ISO 500 and as you can see the noise level is acceptable as long as the shot isn't under exposed... I have been getting decent results at ISO 800 as long as I keep a close eye on the histogram..... The early 1D with 4 mega pixels is a gem at around a grand.....
