Nice bean Wu.:D

Thanks- I think I did a great job on the dad who did a great job on the Bean! It is weird to look at them and think that that little human has part of me running through his veins.
YOu can't tell it in these pics, but he does appear to have my right ear. ;)

Just got a package delivered :-)

It was a huge box measuring 39 x 22 x 16 cm !

And inside were a 2,5" 160 GB harddisk.

Talk about sending the hd well protected.

The lens I put in the picture just for comparison is my 85 mm f/1.8.

I would have refused the package and asked them to send it in an appropriately sized box

Should be an interesting read.

Im putting together a list of the things that are in the strobist starving student lighting kits that i can get locally instead of ordering from the states. Only things im stumped on are the umbrella bracket they use and a pc sync cord to hotshoe adaptor. Cant track down a decent alternative.

Should be fun. . .a bit of adventure. :)

I'm actually reading for the first time in years. Was kinda hard to be a prof and be unable to concentrate enough to read. I got to rediscover all my old tricks to make it through a page.
This weekend I read about 600 pages. I was happy! I think I may even go to the library today. I prefer to buy books, but that has to wait til after a job is secured.

I am hoping so on both counts. I am also hoping to learn something from it. I have never been able to get out there and enjoy life, to afraid of stuff.

but it's all a block in my mind and I need to get over it.
