I just finished a discussion on this with someone else...there is no way you can tell the quality of a shot by looking at the lcd on camera...media cards are cheap...get a spare card or two to carry...and do your deleting from a real computer where you can view the image at a proper size to determine if you really want to ditch it or not.

I am amazed at how many people delete photos...once it is gone...it is gone forever...sometimes even a less than perfect image can be important to someone...if nothing more than a learning tool...I frequently look at the bad ones over again...just to see what went wrong.

Well, I don't really feel like opening up a bunch of extra shots I guess. I just delete the obviously crap ones with tons of motion blur etc, the rest I keep.

that's what I do too. There've been times where I've thought "should I have saved that"? But then I really HATE weeding through a zillion photos at the end of a shoot...and if I know I blew it, I just dump it. Otherwise, after I've downloaded my photos, I don't delete them from my card, I just format it once it's back in the camera.

i love shooting in the rain espcaly when their are nikons around that alll run for cover :D and you can get some great shots

It was raining so hard in that shot, it was practically coming down sideways! ;)

Rain is over-rated.

As I look out on a backyard that's received 1.5" of rain in the last 24 hours, I'd have to agree. It's rare to get 1.5" of rain here from July through September, let alone in 24 hours.

Anybody seen Bourne Ultimatum yet ?

I saw it yesterday. I thought it was great. Action from start to finish. The ending was a little surprising.

Theres only 1 week until I am in africa :D I can't wait.

My Dad saw it Saturday night. He said there were people in the theater near him that were getting motion sick from all the action. Sounds like a movie I'll be watching without my wife.

Looking forward to seeing POTN take on Africa!

Shut up. :p Nothing good on TV. Watching MTV now, some big American guy trying to loose weight. Actually this one seems genuine compared to other weight loss shows. Trying to get inspired. Need to loose weight. :(
