Sorry about the paperwork, I remember that from when my daughter was there. But try to have an open mind re: school. There's SO MUCH to glean from college (not just the technical stuff either)...you've got new things to learn but also have so many opportunities for meeting new people as well as the cool events (artistic and informative) that the school offers. It'll be a lot different than you expect and I really hope you'll find that you enjoy it as well as learn from it.

I DO hope you can come to the balloons but definitely don't miss anything important from the orientation.

That is what I keep trying to tell myself... but just last week I had to turn down a three-week project in the Caribbean that came through a company I do consulting with... hmm... homework ... white sandy beaches.... homework .... ladies in bikinis.... homework..... gah... fine, homework....

okay, yeah, that'd be hard! But don't forget, if you are already that marketable, you'll only be moreso when you are done :) Then you can do all the white sand beaches and bikini's you want ;)

Yup :-) For now I get all the local projects (like Corvallis, etc) --- though Corvallis isn't quite as exotic as the Caribbean....

Just got an email from the bride from my last wedding. She told me they've looked through all the photos and realised they'll be having a hard time choosing 50. I'm hoping they'll cave in and want o buy more... Now, what I DON'T get is that the photo they want for their ad in the paper is the one I'm least happy about!!! They want a shot that is basically just a snapshot from outside the wedding. I just took a VERY quick snapshot. For the Thank You cards they want the ring/flower shot and a shot of them together. At least those ones I like.
