Many race weekends, I end up with over 3,000 images. It isn't hard to do when it is a club weekend with over 400 cars in attendance. You try to get a shot or two of everybody to pay for the weekend...and then you try to get some good action shots...not hard at all to rack up some very big shot counts.

3000 images from a weekend isnt a lot really when we do the big RWYB events at shakey i take around 5000 images for press want to get into image sales not too sure how to approach it tho as i want to sell via web not on site printing (less over heads better quality of prints). I am aware tho that my shots do blow the current contractors out the water

Yeah... I hit snooze too many times this morning and had to run out too quickly I am thinking about keeping the 50 1.8 on there since I don't care if it breaks or not... (I am looking at the sigma 30 1.4 due to the FOV on a crop...)

Sorry, couldn't resist! I wanted to make an entry and was browsing my images for a selection. That one just hit me. I was going to do a Puddle/sign picture, still might.

Love your choice of 'motivational' words, too.

My kids and I played with that thing for a couple hours. Came up with some hilarious ones.

On site printing is the way to go...look at the Epson line...if you can hand them a print in seconds...the sale is almost guaranteed...if they have to do it online...about half your sales are gone without ever even looking.
