Yeah, the noise isn't that great. You're just not used to it yet.
If it keeps bugging you, buy a 5D!!

Very muggy though. Farmer's Market snob. Corvallis one's not good enough for you big city type? I tend to ramble. Feel free to put me on ignore.

About the noise...don't worry about it. Nobody else did. And it's louder to you than anyone else in the church. Trust me. Now let's see some photos! The groom actually looked at me once due to the noise. lol Pete wrote in post #3587543 Yeah, the noise isn't that great. You're just not used to it yet. If it keeps bugging you, buy a 5D!! ![]()

If the 5D sounds like a "wisp wisp" sound and the 30D like a "clack clack" sound then the MKIII sounds like a "WHACK WHACK" sound...scared the holy mooo out of me when I first pushed it! .. A guy standing next to me started to take a photo (with a p&s) the same time I did and then just stopped and looked at the MkIII and then he said "you probably took 50 photos and I'm still waiting for mine to get over shutter lag" then he laughed. ..
