Now, imagine a nice idyllic scene... by a lake, beautiful day, and there, in the distance, a lovely bird is floating on the thermals and it's slowly making it's way toward you. You raise your 30D, focus in and are ready to press the shutter button. All of the sudden you hear the above sound in you ear and you're instantly transported to some trench warfare while someone fires off the machine gun.

I tend to ramble. Feel free to put me on ignore.

Mmmm, those look nice. I saw some montrous blackberries today. These things were HUGE. Oh, and some beefsteak tomatoes that were about the size of melons. Crazy.

Wow. I would get sooo annoyed with the MarkIII sound. Really disliked it.

Bloody 'ell!!! That's not a camera, it's a shotgun! The soft mode was a bit annoying as well...

As for the portraits, I really need to learn how to make images pop. Hmmm...

OMG OMG New harry potter book in my hands... EEEEEEEEE

Now to finish re-reading the 6th book... (only about 80 pages to go, didn't expect to get it on the first day out!!!).

EEEEEE!!!

Oh also got my prints for fair. AWESOME. The person who ran them wrote on the outside of the envelope Photo Contest form enclosed... look into it. (for costco's little contest..) So that made me warm and fuzzy too.

Anyways I am leaving in a while for the Rush concert tonight. I might be back before then, if not cheerio.

That's great the person wrote that! I'd love to have someone do something like that for me. :)

I'm buying the HP book tomorrow (at least that's the plan). hehe Dunno if I can finish it this weekend though, but hopefully within the week. :)
