I came back directly to Geneva from Germany to be able to celebrate my birthday with my family. I took 2 days off. And it started in the best possible way...

After getting up, I felt quite bad and while I was trying to reach the sofa, I fainted and fell first on the glass table and then between the said table and the sofa.

Don't worry, I'm feeling better now. It was just some hypotension with low glucose, fatigue and a cold starting... I guess I'll spend the day resting at home

Oh that doesn't sound nice. Good you're feeling better now though. Maybe you should rest here today :)

Where were these taken? The only Heisler I know of on the coast is in Felton at Roaring Camp. It's a former Westside Lumber Company engine currenlty running on 3 ft. narrow gauge tracks.

I grew up five miles from Roaring Camp, up in Ben Lomond. Spent most of my life driving by Roaring Camp, either to go up to Mt. Hermon, or to go to the beaches. RC was a pretty fun place. Of course, I never appreciated how beautiful the area was until I moved from there.

The blues are worth a listen...with the right performers. I can handle most anything but rap and trailer park country....And lest we forget...boy bands.

Right there with you, Wool. Cannot stand rap, in any form, and the twang of C&W gets on my nerves. As for boy bands... no, no, no. Outside of that, I can flow.

I tend to ramble. Feel free to put me on ignore.

Thanks all! I'm feeling better now. I think the real cause of my sickness was the disapointment of not being introduced in the TR

I hope you feel REALLY guilty now meany head

The second reasson is the fact that I'm still waiting for the TF to change my title. I think I'll have to corrupt it with chocolate...

I still believe that you will never get a title until you finally give up trying to score one. Its what happened to me ;)

Some folks love making the switch...I couldn't wait to get back to a PC after being forced to go Mac.

Oh, that has got everything to do with planning. I refuse to compromise on some of my apps, such as WinAmp (don't ask me why, it has been that way since 1997 and will always be as far as I am concerned). There is no Mac equivalent. There was supposed to be but didn't pan out. Anyway there's lots of software I either 1. Want to use 2. Have a license for Win32 and don't feel like re-buying my license. And as I said right now, I am working on a project involving SQL Server. MS ain't gonna port SQL Server to Mac until Hell freezes over.

So.....enter VMWare Fusion. Windows-in-Mac and even Windows apps directly on the Mac desktop. w00t!!

(I know about Parallels, just that Fusion recently went 'production' and VMWare has lots of clout aroud here, thanks to Tommy's awesome VMWare advice to me earlier this year).
