For consumers, pizza and hamburgers are substitutes. A rise in the price of a pizza causes ____ in the price of a hamburger and ____ in the quantity of hamburgers. A) a rise; an increase B) a rise; a decrease C) a fall; an increase D) a fall; a decrease I am leaning towards "C" --- I love the economics class due to the subject - but my teacher can't speak English very well, so it is hard to understand. Everyone has issues and talks to him afterwards...

The cynical brain in me likes "B" because if Hamburger sees that Pizza raised its prices, then it will raise ITS price as well, causing inflation and people eating at home. I tend to ramble. Leading to an increased price
