I am home with the illness that will not die  Had to go to the ER last week from work with Bacterial Conjuctivitis, could not see or focus out of the right eye, quite scary. On top of that, I have some flu (aches, pains, cannot get cool or hot) to deal with. Not good times for me

one of the bad parts of working in a correctional facility, who knows what we are subjected too on a daily basis

On a better note, it is the hiking season in SoCal (cooler weather, less people). Bagged a couple 8000-9000 foot peaks in the last week when the illness subsided

OK, need a little non-photography help here.... Maybe those of you who've survived college can assist me:

I've been writing something for a few months, a little treatise for grooms who are getting married... a bit of a "humorous" guide of what to expect. I've been typing normal page size, single space, size 10 on the Comic Sans font. Obviously, if I ever have this printed, the book pages will not be the same size 8.5"x11". So, what is the conversion rate for pages typed to pages in a book? I mean, is one page typed in the above fashion equal to 1.5 book pages, on average? Anyone know? I realize that different sized books will create a difference in the ratio, but on average? I've never done anything like this before, and I need to have a basic idea of what's ahead if I choose to go through "Blurb.com" or go more mainstream.

I tend to ramble. Feel free to put me on ignore.

It all depends on font, page size and margins...when you go to print, you can adjust the print properties to a variety of page sizes, fonts and font sizes and margins...a little experimenting should give you a better idea.
