It was a long day yesterday...was able to finish work just a bit early and ended up going to the Animal Defense League and adopted a chocolate colored Lab mix *insert 'happy happy joy joy smilie*.
I have to take pictures of my new puppy...named Joshua by the ADL.

YAY!!! Can't wait to see Joshua!!! *doin the happy dance* A new pup in the family!!

Very nice.. Fall is on its way. Should have a tiny bit of a cooldown over the weekend, too! Feels so nice outside.

I left the screen door open last night while I slept. I had to get up in the middle of the night and find a blanket! We're still topping 100F during the day, but at night, the temps drop down into the 50's.

For those who love to race look here

Neat! When I lived in Moorpark, one of my roommates had an old car he was converting into a stock car to race on the local tracks. He promised me I could be the driver. Unfortunately, before he got it ready we went our separate ways and eventually lost touch, so it never happened. Too bad. I love to drive fast. That's one of the best things about living here in Palmdale, BTW... The speed limits on the roads around here are in the 45 to 65mph range. No more of that slow 25-35mph city driving for me, like in the Valley!

*sigh* Frankie 'pimped' my MySpace. Apparently I wasn't meeting her standards. I shall seek to fix it.
