have you tried that on your kids?.....my mom used spoons:

used wooden ones on all 3 of her boys, but they quickly broke over our bottoms. then she started usuing plastic spoons which hurt even worse and still broke........:evil:Until she finally used metal spatulas:evil:

I just have one kid, and I rarely swat her. And when I do, its just with my hand. But she's only 6. My mom used a belt on all of her kids. Nearly wore it out by the time we were grown.
