She is not allowed much TV or computer time anyway, so losing them doesn't seem to affect her that much because she knows how to deal with not having them. I might try the writing thing. I can see her sitting at the table yelling out "how do you spell insubordination and delinquent??" ![]() LOL...I gave them dictionaries.... .. It's Permie's world, we just live in it! ~CDS

Permagrin wrote in post #3616933 I have the 70-200 (w/tc if necc) or the 300 w/tc....which would you recommend? Prime or zoom? Most Rodeos have a bit of a break between events. Take them both, I think the the prime would be very good if you can get a good angle on the barrel racers. Set a deep DOF and pre focus on the barrel then try to get the rider as they round the barrel. The zoom would be the better choice for the other events. The scene is the engagement party and we are on stage as extras acting like we are gossipping about this Jekyll fellow. The girl next to me whispered "Lovely Hat", the expression on my face looked like I had just got the year's top gossip story, perfect for the scene. Stage experience told me not to reach for it, instead I used the knowledge to further gossipy attitude of my little grouping. Uh, huh *swoon* cfpackerfan wrote in post #3619987 but I'm not willing to spend that much time de-noising a huge batch of photos. But, you can do a batch at a time. She said she always knew she deserved a spanking (when she was going to get one) but hated waiting until we were calm enough to give it to her. Funny things that kids remember from their past......both ours have said that back then they'd rather have had a spanking than one of Dan's LONG lectures ![]() ![]() ^^^^yep what she said. jothefish wrote in post #3620290 Can everyone show us what view you wake up to in the morning? However, my parents, the grandparents are consistent. The kids are SO much more behaved when their parents are not around and they're with the G's. I think consistancy with discipline, either mental or physical, is what will make the biggest difference. The thing my dad did was to always make me give him a hug after he'd spank me. Which is funny because once I got married I always want to give the wife a hug after we've argued. ![]() I think I'm consistent. Sometimes I hate being consistent because I want to get on with things and not take time out for her time out or whatever.
