I made my 7th trip to WalMart  for 'needed' school supplies.

We figured this one out years ago, give the kids the money and have them go get their own supplies, they just loved doing it and we did make sure they only got what they needed, along with a buck or so to spend on something of their choice (usually junk food). Saved us lots of time and grief.

Cute, very cute. Though something in me was hoping to see Cara give Vader a good shot and send him flying.. ;)

Nope:) but not having one I love to see yours:)

I'm the same way with cats too, I like them when they are someone else's, love watching them, will play with them and all, but don't really want any myself. Hmmm, I guess I have the same thoughts about certain feminine attributes. :)

I was supposed to meet Deb tomorrow down at the coast... Now I have to pull another long day.

:(I'm bummed too, for all of you. I hope Deb sees the PM.

Hi Becky, nice to see ya

*shyly waving* Hi Zane always good to see you too. Glad to hear you are biting at the bit to do some work, prooves you are mending.

Does she date yet?

I'm saving this to pull out in a couple of years, remember, your daughter isn't too far behind.;)

Sadden to hear the morning news when my alarm radio went off this morning regarding the rescue attempts in Utah.

Cara and Vader are too cute. Wish we could figure out what they must be thinking. Looks like those two will be great pals.

Seems all I have been doing lately is flitting in and out of POTN. This weekend will be the same, getting on only when it is nappy time for "Lil' Works". He is walking now, should be a fun weekend. I've got my biggest project to catch up on at work today...purposely planned this way in the hopes it will keep the afternoon from dragging on f o r e v e r.

I'm starting to buy somethings to keep at grammy's...sippy cup, baby plates, toys, booster chair. What was I thinking when I sold all those after CJ had outgrown them all. 'Salright, today's stuff is cooler.:D

I had hoped I had heard wrong, what with just waking up and all, but; then news was on as I was driving to work and 2 more of the rescuers died last night for a total of 3.

So very sad. My heart grieves for all the families.

I just caught up on the miner situation too, I feel so bad for those families. Especially tough when rescuers are the ones who lose their lives. :(

LOVE the Cara/Vader video, is that clicking noise Cara's mouth chomping?

No idea. I hadn't even watched it with sound until you asked that. Can you tell what movie we were watching?

puddlepirate44 wrote in post #3742914 (external link)
Sounded more like her toenails hitting the floor... Poor Cara... she seemed so frustrated at the end! :D

She wasn't. Ginger was lying under the table, and I shut the camera off just before she came darting out and the livingroom became a carnival. (as happens quite often. The dogs will wrestle around for hours.) Vader tried to be a part of it, but they get quite rough with each other and he skeedaddled to my lap.

Ditto. I found all the news stories I could last night, and read up on it.... devastating.
