Your images didn't come up on this multi quote. My question was concerning the first pic, the one with the metal doo-dad, not the syringe. What is that?

Thanks everyone for the nice feedback on the balloons. I had a blast!
You can see more in my gallery, if you'd like
here
.
Willy (Keiko) was set free a few years ago. Unfortunately, he died after release. I lived in Newport during his time there. It was quite an event.
Chris, I hadn't gone over to your gallery yet until now. Wowzers. Beauty shots. Really. I can't find one that didn't cause me to say, "Wow." Good job.

I went, I saw and I definetly liked. The smiling sun is gorgeous. How many balloons were there in total? Any idea? Did you go back this morning?
I know that this was directed to TD, but I'll be the meany head and answer for him.
I believe there were 36 balloons this year. There were more this morning than there were yesterday. And, yes, he was there this morning, with his visiting cousin from Montana. Lisa and I went as well, then wandered over to the classic car show after launch.

would 200mm be too short if I was shooting highschool football on the sidelines?
No. But you've already got that answer. I just thought I'd throw my 2ยข in.

Wow there were 13 people on board. I did not realize they carried so many
It all depends on the volume of the envelope. Some balloons are HUGE.
