Obviously not "instant". Was the decsion turned?

Seriously nice shots there, Dan. The lighthouse and coast shots are great too, though I don't think I'd be able to lean out to get some of those shots.

Wu - Judging by the pictures I think you will officially make Bean a keeper the second he hits your arms.

Mike - Aiden has a seat like yours, I loved it really helps to keep them upright until their back and stomach muscles develop.

G'MAE good people.

Hi all, you sure were chatty today.

Link doesn't work, and now I want desperately to know what song you were talking about. EDIT: nevermind, I just removed the extra http and it worked. I like ABBA. ;)

Thanks, Cat. I've gone back and edited.

Dan nice Civil war shots ~ where in Oregon do they do this? I love the ones you convert to blk and whites or sepia ...they are awesome ..Not bad landscapes either .I think I have a pic of that lighthouse only mine is a spec compared to yours .

Thanks, Deb! The Civil War thingy was up near Astoria at a state park called Fort Stevens.... an actual fort built near the time of the CW. Being on the West Coast, we don't have many of those.

Thanks, Jamie :D

Lisa: Little only has one Big Wedding just buy the shoes $400.00 or not. If you have to sell a lens just sell one. ;) LOL!

No thanks, Jamie

The CSA won.... again. I'm starting to think that the organizers of these events are slightly biased and are Southern Sympathizers.

As for leaning out, it may look brave, but my inner child was screaming for Mommy. :o

Dan I love your war photos. You guys have good cliffs out there, nice shots. I used to have no problem with precipices but my brain decided it does not like them. On the Alaska trip I turned to a quivering mess on a few edges. It is weird I never expected to feel like that. I guess my head knows I am not as sure footed as I used to be:confused:.

Thanks to those who commented on the little horses I posted.

As a rule, I hate heights. Hate 'em. But sometimes my curiosity or my desire to take "that" shot overrule my primal fear.

I've been to Astoria once before, when I was on a ship and we stayed overnight. Obviously, I didn't spend too much time sightseeing 'cuz I didn't have a car or any means of transportation other than my feet, which were pretty tired. So, yesterday, with TD, I've discovered that Astoria and its environs are very beautiful and I'd like to spend some quality time up there. So much to photograph up in that area. Amazing.
