As for leaning out, it may look brave, but my inner child was screaming for Mommy. :o

Umm, I didn't want to have to break it to you, Dan. And especially, not here on a public forum...but that wasn't your inner child. You were screaming like a third grade girl until I dragged you back to the car. Do you not remember whimpering on the floorboards of the Tahoe? Tragic. Just tragic.

As a rule, I hate heights. Hate 'em. But sometimes my curiosity or my desire to take "that" shot overrule my primal fear.

I've been to Astoria once before, when I was on a ship and we stayed overnight. Obviously, I didn't spend too much time sightseeing 'cuz I didn't have a car or any means of transportation other than my feet, which were pretty tired. So, yesterday, with TD, I've discovered that Astoria and its environs are very beautiful and I'd like to spend some quality time up there. So much to photograph up in that area. Amazing.

Gee thanks! Sitting in the Subway eating a delicious sandwich with TD isn't quality? Well I never! harumph!! :p:p:p

;)

I love the shots with the wind in her hair. I am guessing the command "come here" is not in her vocabulary:lol:. I bet she had a ball running free. I am glad she came back. You should try to find a big fenced in area she can go off leash and run like a tiny little maniac I bet she would love it.

Zane she does know the come command ...lol she just decided not to listen to it ..lolAnd your right she would love to run free ..

My, aren't we sensitive this morning.

I must've blocked the memory of whimpering in the Tahoe. I do, however, remember screaming as you were careening close to the edge of the cliffs and telling stories of people that have died falling over the edge.

As for Subway, yeah, quality time. When I'm that hungry, quality doesn't factor in. I was actually afraid of being seen with someone who can't HDR worth a hill o' beans. ;) Like I could:p

WOW!!! Some Meany Head got up on the wrong side of the bed didn't she! The Queen of HDR hasn't had her coffee yet, has she?!! (I'm assuming this was a Permie-inspired hateful comment!) :p

Can I help it if my HDR skills don't stack up?! (get it, stack up?)

Speaking which, you can tell Her Highness that I took several multi-exposure shots this morning in anticipation of honing my skills! She's got a lot to look forward to!!

Yeah. Yesterday he spent most of the day mooning about, trying unsuccessfully to wipe tears from his eyes and mumbling about how such and such a shot would make a great HDR if only he knew how.... He was completely inconsolable.
