I loved this one, not much regulation down there, or safety

Oh yeah, the churros down there are awesome, too bad you have to fight off the other vendors on the beach to get one

The wiring is like that most everywhere, growing up in the Los Angeles area and then seeing this makes me realize how much safer it is here

On another note, anyway to not blow the sky out when it is overcast (everyday) like this, when I exposed for the sky, my main subjects were very dark, too big a difference to balance

Cool shots.
The fisheye is a great storytelling composition.
Curiosity is really piqued by that mass of shacks. My mind wants a wider view to figure what the hell is up with those things.
I hope that machete guy didn't cut his thumb off!

The shacks are a big open air shopping/bardering area, lots of stuff in there, some of it highly illegal in the US

Great shots - they capture the spirit of the area very well. And thanks for the preview - I'm heading down to Rosarito tomorrow afternoon for a mini vacation.

I'm familiar with the Rosarito Beach Hotel... Spent a summer there on a resort project... Frankly, I don't recognize the photos above at all... But then again, I was there in 1983...
