Today I made a new diffuser and took some fly shots.
The old one was rectangular and smaller.
What do you think ?

Brilliant shots! That fly has come out really really good! Your diffuser is very large but does a nice job!

How do you get the flies to behave so well and sit there for you? I would never be able to get set up to take such shots in enough time before the little bugger took off. GREAT SHOTS!! I can only hope to do half as well.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments.
I'm quiet happy with this diffuser.

the lens is 70-200 4L (no IS) + 3 kenkoo tubes.
The camera is a digital rebel.
The raw converter is DPP.
The flash is a 430EX.
The aperture is f11.
The time is 1/200 s.
and most important try to stabilize your camera the most you can.

Yacine.

Now that's what I call impact.

If I had to choose one, I think it would be shot 2. Looks coiled, ready for action. The red eyes against the dark background work really well
