Sunflower with bee

It's pretty hard to take a bad picture of a sunflower...

These were taken with my 18-55 kit lens and a bellows. I must admit the kit lens actually performed alright this time, though I still plan on replacing it fairly soon. My ultimate goal is to shoot/write for a magazine of some sort, so I'd like some feedback if you've got a second.

My questions:
-What do you think of the composition and bokeh? Are they effective and pleasing?
-Would you be relatively satisfied with the sharpness of these photos? Sharp enough for print?

are those crops? How the hell did you get so close on the first pic with the kit lens, and still have decent sharpness and DoF?

Those are full sized, no cropping. I used my bellows (eBay, $30). I had the advantage of full sunshine at just the right angle.

nice summery feel in #2 but histogram will show you have blown the highlights - in review on camera you will see the highlights blinking as a warning.

I think #1 has to much going on in it. #2 is a good shot.
